Notes: These eleven songs hail from at least four different decades. Their stories are diverse, disconnected, fleeting moments and impressions, retracing familiar lines between work and play, love and obsession, hope and acceptance, remembrance and regret. Released here for the first time, they build on the writers’ work together spanning more than 50 years. Like prior BPH releases (Down at Delmonico's and Boxes, Barrels & Rust) Color in the Glass is a cross-country production with tracks recorded remotely and uploaded for collaborative mixing. All tracks were cut in the 2021-24 time frame; a few selections were part of The Ship’s performing repertoire in the 1970s.
