Dear Friends: We are sorry to report that Albert (Steve) Melshenker, our friend of 55 years, playing partner, and co-creator of The Ship, passed away on August 26, 2026. Albert was a prime creative force in the group's formative years, evidenced by the composition that brought us together and by his songs on One More Night Like This and Left In The Wake.
