Grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois; currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
Music Education major at the U of I; active with The Ship from 1971 to 1977; appears on all album releases performing vocals, keyboards, flute, tenor and alto saxophone, melodica, and synth.
After The Ship: Tennis instructor, Urbana Park District (1977-78); program manager, Centrum Foundation (1978-83); executive, KMS Financial Services, Inc., (1984-2016); married 44 years with two children and three grandchildren; enjoying retirement playing lots of jazz, writing a few songs, and taking frequent bike rides.
